57th Annual General Meeting | April 13, 2021

It’s been quite a year! In spite of the many challenges 2020 brought to our members and community, Kindred had record-breaking results thanks to your support. My colleagues and I are excited to share Kindred’s success with you at our AGM.

Please join us to learn more about our support for community through innovative partnerships and how we’re inviting Ontarians who wish to connect their values and faith with their finances to experience Banking with Purpose wherever they’re at.

I look forward to seeing you online!

By-law Vote – Updating our General By-law

We’re making some changes to Kindred’s General By-law and we’ll be holding a vote on these revisions. The proposed changes include:

  • changing the name of the Board of Director’s Executive Committee to the Governance Committee;
  • giving the Board added flexibility by changing the maximum term length for directors and introducing a minimum and maximum number of directors to ensure continuity of governance should there be an unexpected departure from the Board;
  • clarifying and simplifying the language around Committees of Directors while providing the Board latitude to establish the appropriate number of committees; and
  • embedding our commitment to operating as a Certified B Corp into our General By-law.
