Kindred is aware of an issue affecting a portion of July member account statements wherein the envelope has a cut on the right side. We are working with our statement provider to determine the root cause of the issue and to ensure a plan is in place to reduce the possibility of this re-occurring in the future. At this time, we do not believe member information was at risk since the contents of the envelopes do not appear to have been tampered with or removed.
