Kindred Credit Union is excited to have launched the new kindredcu.com on May 11, 2021! We’re pleased to continue expanding our digital solutions, so more Ontarians can experience Banking with Purpose wherever they’re at!
As with any new technology, there’s always a few ‘bugs’, so we’ve gotten out our insect repellent and we’re taking care of these. We’ve listed some known issues below, along with the resolution, and when we expect to be done. If you happen to find something that isn’t on our list, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can look into it.
We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve these minor issues and improve kindredcu.com for our members!
1. First 8 digits of your Access Card are not saved in the Access Card Number field.
We’re working with our online banking provider to have these digits added to the field.
If you click “Manage Memorized Accounts”, you will see the first 8 digits of your Access Card.
Status: As of June 10, 2021, we continue to work with our online banking provider; however, this resolution will be delayed for a few weeks.
2. The link to download account information to QuickBooks is broken.
Resolution/Workaround: QuickBooks has added the correct URL for Kindred in their bank list.
Status: Resolved May 18, 2021.
3. Search results redirect to the kindredcu.com home page.
Resolution/Workaround: Since our site search is powered by Google, it will take some time for Google to crawl our new site and provide links to the new content.
Status: As of June 10, 2021, the majority of the search results are now accurate and the remaining ones will improve over time. No further updated status will be provided.
