Online Banking Launch – See What We’re Doing to Catch the Bugs!

Kindred Credit Union is excited to have launched our new and refreshed online banking on October 7, 2021. We’re pleased to continue to expand and improve our digital solutions, so more Ontarians can experience Banking with Purpose wherever they’re at!

As with most platform updates, there are usually a few ‘bugs’ and some formatting issues we’ll continue to work on. We’ve listed some known issues below, along with the resolution, and when we expect the fix to be implemented. We’ve also included a Helpful Tips section to support you as you begin to use the new platform.

Known Issues:

1.

Payments screen Payees are larger than necessary.
Resolution: We have submitted this change request to our online banking provider. A resolution would be reducing the vertical space of the Payees to limit scrolling, especially when tens of Payees are on screen (as is the case for business members).
Status: Issue is expected to be resolved by March 2022.

2.

Transfer Funds screen doesn’t fit on one screen.
Resolution: We have submitted this change request to our online banking provider. A resolution could be the drop down fields being split into two columns rather than a single one.
Status: Issue is expected to be resolved by March 2022.

Helpful Tips:

1.

Looking for account details such as your GIC term, LOC amount available, interest rate, maturity date?
You’ll find this information in the ‘Account Details’ drop down menu at the top of the Account Summary page.

2.

The option formerly called ‘Export to’ is now found under ‘Format’.
Click the ‘Format’ dropdown menu and you’ll find a number of viewing options and different ways to download /export your account summary details.

3.

Supported browsers include the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
If you’re having trouble viewing items on the page, you can try updating your browser. Please note, Internet Explorer is no longer supported and some features of online banking will not work with this browser.

4.

The ‘Print Page’ link is no longer available — try Ctrl + P instead.
If you’d like to print your account activity in online banking you still have a few options. You can try the shortcut Ctrl + P from a PC or Command + P from a Mac. You can also select a file format from the ‘Format’ dropdown (ex. ‘Download to PDF’) and save your transactions to your computer. You can then open the file on your computer to print.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve these issues and improve online banking for our members.
